This Privacy Policy is intended to address the public website and the Novi-powered member portal. It does not apply to information collected offline except to the extent expressly described at the point of collection.

  • referring and exit pages, dates and times of access, page views, clicks, and other usage data;
  • cookie, local storage, and similar technology data;
  • log, diagnostic, and performance information.

C. Information from third parties

We may receive information from service providers and other third parties that support our operations, such as website hosting, membership management, event registration, payment processing, analytics, email communications, and affiliated BOMA organizations where relevant to the administration of membership or programs.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information we collect to:

  • operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services;

5. Cookies, Similar Technologies, and Do Not Track

We and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, session-replay or analytics tools, embedded content, and similar technologies to remember preferences, keep users signed in, analyze traffic, improve performance, and support communications and platform functionality.

Because browser-based “Do Not Track” signals and similar mechanisms are not yet uniform, the Services may not respond to all such signals in a standardized way. In addition, third parties such as analytics providers, embedded content providers, or social media platforms may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services when you use the Services.

6. Email Communications and Choices

If you subscribe to updates or become a member, we may send you newsletters, event notices, membership communications, and other messages related to the Services. You may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe mechanism in the message, but we may still send transactional or administrative communications.

7. Access, Correction, and Requests

You may request access to, correction of, or updates to certain personal information by contacting us. Some information may also be updated through your account or member profile. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may retain information as required by law, recordkeeping obligations, or legitimate organizational needs.

8. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to maintain accounts and member records, administer programs and events, comply with legal and financial obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
