Leasing is an important aspect of the commercial real estate industry. Attracting and keeping tenants in buildings creates value. Have you ever wondered what leasing brokers do? How property management integrates to a successful leasing program? This workshop will provide an overview to commercial office leasing and how it relates to property management. Having previously worked in property management and asset management, Wes Powell, JLL, is a San Francisco landlord office leasing broker who will provide attendees with a unique perspective on the leasing process and the importance of the property management team’s role in getting the deal done! Event Sponsors: Kilroy Realty & Peacock Construction. The program is free of charge, lunch is provided and reservations are required as space is limited. Meeting space provided courtesy of CBRE. Career Success Workshops are lunchtime programs designed to enhance the learning and skill development of future industry and BOMA leaders. The workshops are open to all members but geared towards BOMA Emerging Professionals -- individuals in the early stages (0-7 years) of their commercial real estate careers that are looking for exposure to the skill sets necessary to excel and to the career paths available in this industry.
