Alice Smith, Chief Engineer | Able Services
Alice has 29+ years as a Stationary Engineer. She began her career as an Apprentice for a Class 1A Hotel Conglomerate in a crew with multiple journeyman from various trades that showed a young engineer the correct way of becoming a stationary engineer and in-turn, to becoming a strong Chief Engineer. Alice has learned from previous Chief’s and property managers how to prepare and execute budgets, capital plans, building optimization and she has taken these skills from hotels mixed use properties, data centers, commercial building and into the commissioning of 2 new buildings in downtown San Francisco which included a Historical site. She has upgraded all buildings that she has worked in including receiving over 1 million in rebates from PG&E and received a regional TOBY award for 201 Spear Street in San Francisco.
Jason Smith, Vice President, Group Manager | JLL
Jason Smith is Vice President, Group Manager for the Nuveen portfolio in San Francisco. In this role, he is responsible for the execution of client specific deliverables, national initiatives, and the excellent financial and operational performance of the asset. Jason has over 16 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to his current role, he was the Operations Manager for San Francisco, supporting and leading a team of over 50+ management and engineering individuals across approximately 5M RSF of managed assets in the City.
Jason received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Science in Management & Human Resources from Cal Poly University. He is a Director for the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of IREM, and an active member of BOMA San Francisco. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, holds the designations of Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Real Property Administrator (RPA), a LEED Green Associate, and a Fitwel Ambassador.
