TOBY Award Workshop

TOBY Award Workshop
We know you and your team work hard every day and what better way to be recognized for your efforts than winning The Outstanding Building of the Year Award (TOBY)?  The BOMA Bay Area Awards Committee, a joint effort of BOMA SF and BOMA Oakland/East Bay,  are hosting informal workshops in SF on May 14 and Oakland on May 7 (register below for SF, Click here to REGISTER for Oakland workshop on May 7).  The workshops will help de-mystify and guide you through the TOBY process.  What are the requirements?  How much work is it, really?  What if I don’t manage an office building, can I still enter?  When do I need to decide by?   How much does it cost?  Get all the answers to this and more. Both BOMA Oakland/East Bay and BOMA San Francisco members can choose to come to either workshop.  Both workshops are close to BART so you can zip out and zip back fairly quickly.

This workshop is being hosted at 221 Main Street, winner of the Pacific Southwest Regional TOBY award for buildings 250,000-249,999 sf.  The building will compete for the International TOBY at the BOMA Int'l Conference at Expo in Salt Lake City in June!

So, if you’ve ever had just the slightest interest in the TOBY process or requirements or maybe you know nothing about what it’s about, please join us.  There is no commitment to coming.  We just want to be a resource to share what we know to help you make a good decision about whether or not throwing your hat into the ring is something you may want to try.
