Career Success Workshop: The Sustainability Cheat Sheet

Sustainable practices are an important aspect of managing and maintaining commercial real estate. Get ahead on everything green with CBRE Sustainability Director Zachary Brown, LEED AP O&M.  Zach will present an overview of key sustainability and environmental laws that impact building operations and young professionals’ day-to-day duties.  He will also shed light on how understanding sustainable practices can augment young professionals' influence and add value to their interactions with general contractors, owners and tenants.

Career Success Workshops are lunchtime programs designed to enhance the learning and skill development of future industry and BOMA leaders. The workshops are open to all members but geared towards BOMA Young Professionals -- individuals in the early stages (0-7 years) of their commercial real estate careers that are looking for exposure to the skill sets necessary to excel and to the career paths available in this industry.

The program is free of charge.   Reservations are required and space is limited.  Lunch is provided courtesy of a sponsor.  SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE!  Please email Matt Montanez, [email protected]  to secure.  Meeting space provided courtesy of CBRE.

Zachary Brown has been an active member of the San Francisco Commercial Real Estate community for over seven years. In August 2011, Zach joined CBRE as Sustainability Manager, a role that allows him to work in the fast-paced industry of Commercial Real Estate while focusing on his professional passion of helping buildings operate efficiently without negatively impacting the environment.
