ABOUT THE PANELISTS:

Wes Powell
As Executive Managing Director at JLL with over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate; including acquisitions, asset management, operations, and leasing.  Wes Powell is a Landlord Leasing Broker who  has closed over 19 million square feet of lease transactions and assisted with strategy and underwriting assumptions for clients on over $10 billion of downtown acquisitions since 2000. With 25 years at JLL, Wes Co-leads the Agency Leasing Practice and along with his team is responsible for a 22 building, 7.5 million sf agency leasing portfolio in downtown San Francisco.

Wes previously served as President for BOMA San Francisco (2016-2017), is a current BOMA San Francisco Board Member, and the Board Liaison to the Governmental Affairs Committee.

Christine M. Mann
Christine Mann is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with extensive experience in operations and asset management. She currently serves as Vice President of Operations at Rockhill Management, LLC, where she oversees close to 4.2 million square feet of Class A office properties across CA, NY and DC. Previously, as a Portfolio Manager with Paramount Group, she managed a 4.3 million square foot portfolio of Class A assets in San Francisco.

Christine has held multiple leadership positions within industry organizations, including serving as President of BOMA San Francisco and Downtown SF Partnership and most currently, Treasurer of the CREATE Foundation. She is recognized for her strategic leadership, operational expertise, and commitment to the advancement of the commercial real estate industry.

Lani Volz

Lani Volz is a Senior Property Manager at BXP, currently overseeing the operations of Salesforce Tower, a 1.4 million square-foot landmark and the tallest building in San Francisco. In this role, she prioritizes client satisfaction and engagement, ensuring a seamless experience through the strategic use of building amenities and services.

With extensive experience in property management, Lani has developed expertise in strengthening client relations and cultivating vibrant building communities. Before becoming Senior Property Manager, she played a pivotal role in developing client engagement strategies at Salesforce Tower and held key positions at other premier Class A properties, where she focused on enhancing onsite experiences, organizing events, and fostering responsive, welcoming environments across a combined portfolio of over 4 million square feet.
Lani is a member of the Board of Directors for BOMA California, an active participant with the East Cut Community Benefit District (East Cut CBD) and Salesforce Park committees and formerly served on the Board for the East Cut CBD. She remains deeply involved in both the community and the industry.
 
Randal Sakamoto - 
Randall Sakamoto is a Managing Director at Andersen, and President and Director of Research at Rosen Consulting Group (RCG), an affiliate of Andersen. Randall has over 25 years of experience in real estate research, consulting and advisory services, with a focus on real estate capital fundraising and analytics. He frequently presents and moderates industry panels, and has been involved with several of the largest successful public and private real estate capital raises in recent years. 

In his role as President, Randall is responsible for overseeing operations at RCG, including the delivery of strategic services to clients, and business development.

Prior to joining RCG in 2006, Randall was Assistant Director of Research Services at Cushman & Wakefield of California, Inc. His experience also includes a position as Research Manager with CoStar Group.

The BOMA SF Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is excited to once again partner with The Women's Building in Honor of Women's History month! In 1979, The Women’s Building is the first woman-owned and operated community center in the country and today welcomes over 25,000 clients each year for in-house programs and gain access to social services, attend workshops and meetings, take wellness classes, volunteer, hold celebrations, and deepen their community connections.

The DEI Committee will be hosting a donation drive on March 18th during the Member Luncheon at the Julia Morgan Ballroom. Below is a list of items we are looking to collect:

  • Underwear (new) - S, M, L,XL, 2X, 3X, 4X
  • Hairdryer, hair straightener, hair combs(new)
  • Sunscreen (new)
  • Reusable water bottles
  • Chapstick (new)
  • Caps/Hats
  • Menstrual products
  • Diapers
  • Home cleaning supplies such as Method cleaners, glass cleaner, disinfectant wipes, sponges, laundry detergent etc.
  • Hygiene wipes
  • Clipper cards
  • Gift cards (uber, visa, etc.)
  • Mini first aid kits
  • Reusable Bags (shopping or personal)
  • Nail files/clippers
  • Hair ties/clips
  • Deodorant (new)

Please help us support this organization which empowers women and provides people with the tools and resources to create better lives for themselves, their family and their community.

Can't attend the Membership Luncheon but still want to donate? You may drop items off at 44 Montgomery St at the attention of Sarah Pinfold through the end of March.
