Hidden Influences: Understanding & Managing Unconscious Bias

Hidden Influences: Understanding and Managing Unconscious Bias

Join us for a thought-provoking statewide virtual event presented in partnership with BOMA San Francisco, BOMA Oakland/East Bay, BOMA Greater Los Angeles, BOMA Orange County, and BOMA Silicon ValleyMatthew J. Cahill of Percipio Company will lead an engaging, interactive discussion examination on Unconscious Bias and how it effects us.

This workshop will address the heart of inclusion—how bias forms, how it influences our decisions, and how we can interrupt it to create environments of true belonging. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of their own implicit biases, explore the intersection between personal awareness and professional practice, and leave with actionable insights to strengthen relationships within their organizations and with tenants.

“If you have a brain, you have bias®,” remains a solid starting point for this conversation and invites candid reflection, curiosity, and collaboration. Together, we’ll uncover how inclusive leadership not only supports ethical responsibility but also drives innovation, trust, and long-term business success in the real estate industry.
