ABOUT THE PANELISTS

Robert Bindel, Branch Manager |ABM
Robert Bindel is ABM Parking’s Branch Manager overseeing the Northern California Parking Portfolio. He has nearly 20 years' experience managing and upgrading garages in the San Francisco Bay Area parking market. His proficiencies include Commercial, Retail, Municipal, Hospitality, and Medical Parking environments. Over the past two years he has been tasked with upgrading the Northern California Parking Revenue and Access Control Systems for ABM as new and improved technologies, challenges, and risks emerge.

Greg Jones, President, Montgomery Technologies
Intelligent Riser, a division of Montgomery Technologies, has been installing cybersecure, converged networks for commercial buildings since 2010, over which time Greg has overseen the growth of Intelligent Riser to its position as the most installed building systems network in North America.  With a career spanning three decades in CRE technology, Greg is a nationally recognized leader in the integration of technology with commercial building operations.  Greg has worked with a wide variety of clients to develop solutions for cyber secure networks, bandwidth diversity, DAS, WiFi, and VoIP, and has acted as a strategic consultant for building owners, managers, carriers, and manufacturers. Under his leadership, Montgomery serves its clients by bridging the gap between technology and CRE buildings.

Dmitri Shimolin, CEO | AVS Next/SafeCity Connect
Dmitri Shimolin is the CEO and Founder of AVS Next and SafeCity Connect, which specialize in security systems integration and public-private camera networks. With a background in finance and economics from the University of San Francisco and a passion for technology, Dmitri has spent over 20 years delivering superior solutions to hundreds of organizations in the Bay Area and beyond. SafeCity Connect has become an emerging leader in public safety, offering services in several major California cities. Dmitri is also actively involved in public safety committees and nonprofit organizations, demonstrating his commitment to using technology for community benefit.

The BOMA SF Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is excited to once again partner with The Women's Building once again! With a rich history spanning over 52 years, The Women's Building is a women-led nonprofit arts and education community center located in San Francisco, California. We advocate for self-determination, gender equality, and social justice. Our four-story building provides affordable rent to other nonprofit organizations with aligned missions. Annually, we impact and serve over 20,000 people through a range of social services, community involvement, arts, wellness, and educational events.

The DEI Committee will be hosting a donation drive at the Member Luncheon at the Julia Morgan Ballroom. Below is a list of items we are looking to collect:

  • Pencil pouches
  • Notebooks, folders and writing utensils
  • Lunch boxes
  • Activity Books (variety of ages)
  • Board Games, card games, puzzles, toys
  • Smartphone/Tablet
  • Headphones
  • Art supplies
  • Portable chargers/batteries
  • Water bottles (new)
  • Toiletries

Please help us support this organization which empowers women and provides people with the tools and resources to create better lives for themselves, their family and their community.
